A potter’s life
In my small workshop, I create handthrown pottery that is simple and tactile. I love to manipulate the surface of pots as well as to play with the mixing of different glazes. My work is influenced by living in Japan for two years.
I started working with ceramics when I did my degree in BA (Hons) in Decorative Arts at The Nottingham Trent University. I set up as a potter in Norfolk and have been working with clay ever since.
I am always happy to take commissions and work with you to create something that you love. I have made dinner services for Farmyard restaurant and The Britons Arms, as well as for private customers.
commissions
I can work with you to create a collection of plates and bowls to compliment and present your food. I make small sets for a domestic setting or enough to supply a restaurant. I enjoy the process of designing plates, working with the customer to ensure that they are thrilled with the result.
